So after a long time finally something to submit. This is a little portrait, which I painted as a small gift. Took me quite long to finish, because I wasn't satisfied with some details so kept repainting them over and over.
Done mainly with Cover Pencil in Painter.

This is really very good piece! I thought it is a photo in the small view. Maybe the stylization of the nose may seem like scratch :D . But it really cool! How many hourse circa?

Thanks very much. I was thinking about smoothing the nose, but I kinda liked the hatching there and I wanted to keep that pencil-drawn quality, so that it doesn't turn into a perferct photorealistic piece. And in this version it's a little bit exaggerated, because I shrinked it and then I used an Unsharp filter in PS, which stresses such lines and edges. I think it took me more than 20 hours. I started it before Christmas and finished today 4:30 am ;)

haven't seen you in a while. guess we both are too busy with all this architecture stuff :P
school's good, I love it. it's hard, takes a lot of time, but I simply love it, I wouldn't have chosen anything else for nothing in the world.

Thank you :). Yeah I've been pretty busy lately. But now I have more time because a new term hasn't started yet and I'm finished with the last one. I'm glad that you like architecture :) - you must show me some of your projects then. From your photos I think your school is pretty interesting - those exhibitions etc. I'm curious now about new people, because some of them were here for only one term and many of my friends are back home. But it feels good to come back here and not feeling like a newbie. So hopefully see you soon
